I've felt so alone with this ridiculous "disease" for so long, it was a relief to find this site of fellow sufferers - tho I hate that so many are suffering as I do. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I haven't pursued treatment since I was given a diagnosis (after 8 years by ER dr.), such as tilt table test, etc., because it seems there's not much point. I'm sure it's VV, but what can they do for you once it's determined you have VV for sure? I hate to expend the time and money if they're just going to pat me on the head and look sympathetic! I'm curious as to how dr.'s are treating you who are under dr. care?

My daughter had her first episode at 10. She is now 11 and starting middle school. There have been three episodes in the last two weeks. Is it just stress? What is a mother to do? You mentioned this had been going on since you were young. Is there hope?
