Last night my 16 year old daughter went to the emergency room after passing out and continuing to feel faint with severe headache. She was dehydrated and on her 2nd day of her period. She had just had a bowel movement. Until reading your comments, we had no idea that was this was important to tell the doctors. It was difficult to get blood samples and an IV started. She also threw up her lunch at 11:00pm! The doctor said that she still had her lunch on her stomach because of naturally occuring epinephrine. This has never happened before, but after rehydrating her, she got to go home at 2:00am.
