Last week my husband had just left the room and heard a loud clunk. I was lying unconscious on the floor with a small cut on my nose and the next day bruises on my arm, etc. I went to see my Doctor and saw the Nurse Practicioner as the Dr. was busy. After a bit of evaluation she said I probably had "Vaso-Vagal Reflex.

I am 59 years old and had one spell of losing consciousness about 30 years ago--that is all. I am on Plendil for high blood pressure and that is about all of the medicine I take. I seem to be okay with only my neck and shoulders hurting some now. Do I need to have further studies done on this. It was very scary for myself and my husband and we wonder if it could happen again?
