i have a relative who we think has neurocardiogenic syncope. When she has an attack, she indicates that her heart races, and her face turns bright red. She said the overwhelming feeling is one of dizziness, like the whole room is spinning. The attacks have come on suddenly (within the last year) but she has learned to recognize the symptoms of an attack and go lay down. Recently, she has begun twitching while an attack is happeneing. However, according to one the web sites i've read, this is a different phenomenon than a seizure. This is what i know about it from my relative's account.
