While reading your comments I began to wonder if anyone else has motion sickness? As a child, I got "car-sick"; now I can't ride in elevators without taking dramamine. I wonder if this may be a common denominator. Reading what you all experience makes me feel better. (not that you guys suffer too!) I have felt nausiated at odd times and use to my face would turn red in the middle of the day. Every doctor I've told this to had no suggestions as to the problem and acted like it was okay for your face to turn red. Does anyone else have motion sickness?

I am so glad to read Cheryl's account. I was diagnosed yesterday--haven't had the tilt table test yet but it sure sounds like me. I had an episode two years ago that caused me to fall on a cement floor and caused a brain bleed. I was diagnosed/treated for aneurysm.

Last Thursday I passed out in the bathroom at work without ever getting to use the bathroom. There is no warning except severe stomach cramp and then dizziness. I wake up in the floor flushed and sweating and then start throwing up. It is so good to find this forum and find out I am not insane.

This web site is not a substitute for a thorough medical evaluation and diagnosis of your vaso-vagal type symptoms.  Medical treatment and diagnosis is the only acceptable initial response to these serious symptoms since they might present from any number of life threatening and treatable illnesses. It is for you and your physician to rule out more serious illnesses; Please don't use this online forum as an alternative to getting responsible medical attention and being under the care of a physician for the duration of any unknown, suspected or dangerous vaso-vagal syndrome symptoms.
