what kind of doctor is best to discuss the possibility of having this problem? I have been having real bouts with low blood pressure Dr. suggest drinking plenty of fluids-eating regulary-I explained I do drink at least 8 or more glasses of water daily and eat on a regular schedule-I have had feelings that I'm going to pass out plus I get freezing cold-which I treat by putting a blanket in dryer getting it warm then wrapping myself up in it-I don't know where to turn with this-I just want to feel good and get on with life-any help would be greatly appreciated

I have exercise induced vaso vagal problems. Similarly, I have extreme difficulty riding my bike up hills that every other person should have no problems with. If I push myself I end up on the side of the road lying down sopping wet from sweat and the feeling I have is just terrible. It's like holding your breath times 100. I have had fainting episodes but mostly from getting up too quickly or taking a shower that is too hot. My BP is usually around 90/60 and my heart rate is often below 55. I am having a stress test soon and hope that results will show something obvious. I have had these problems since I was about 10 years old and have seen a cardiologist now for about 5 years. I was on proamintine but it lost its effectiveness after a while. I would like to know what tests you have gotten since then and if you have been treated to the degree that your problems have been fixed. Also warm weather and eating worsen my symptoms and standing still for any length of time is pretty difficult. Makes life interesting....
