John L Thanks so much for your info. I have never been told about vasovagal by my own doctor even though he knows of my symptoms. I only was told by my 9 yr. olds pediatrician when he had his fainting episode in school. I have no choice but to look for answers from other persons who have had the same experiances. I was not aware of the heart problems associated with vasovagel and would appreciate if you or anyone else could clue me in a little. I am 33 and for as long as I can remember, my heart would race extremelly fast if I would come down a flight of steps to fast. I tried arobics in the past and got really sick and fainted. I am just glad there is a name for this. Thanks to everyone who can help in anyway. Audrey tmythreesons@aol.com

I have the same problem, however somewhat different, I never actually faint or black out, I just get very woozy, and soon am unable to support myself, after that I end up making my way to the floor (not by falling) because I can no longer support myself. I never lose consciousness, however I am usualy unable to move for about 30 mins aftrer the episode. Does this help? Also, you may want to have the tilt table test done. It is not pleasant, but it may shed some light on whether or not you have vaso vagal
