I'VE EXPERIENCED THIS RECENTLY AND IN THE PAST I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH THIS WHEN I WENT TO THE EMERGENCY ON 4/7/00. THE SYMPTONS WERE LIGHT-HEADINESS, FELT LIKE I WAS GOING TO PASS OUT I COULD SEE MYSELF GOING IN & OUT (DARKNESS TO LIGHT) SHAKES, SWEATS (COLD), NAUSEA. I COULDN'T EVEN STAND UP AND IF I DID I FELL BACK DOWN AND ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS LIE DOWN ON THE FLOOR WHERE IT WAS COLD (I WAS IN THE LADIES ROOM)AND THEN AFTER ALL OF THIS HAPPENED ALL I WANTED TO DO IS GO TO SLEEP. THEN AFTER THE EPISODE PASSED I STARTED GETTING REAL BAD HEADACHES. THIS REALLY SCARED ME TO DEATH BECAUSE I ACTUALLY FELT LIKE I WAS DYING.

Vagal or not Vagal?????

I've been reading the messages on this site and I have so many of the same syptoms as a lot of you. One thing that is different for me is that I have never actually fainted. I am come pretty close a couple of time but I can detect a spell coming on so I try to lay down as soon as possible. I've been having fainting spells since I was in 8th grade. I'm now 26 and they seem to come more often now. My doctor has run a bunch of blood test and some heart tests but everything has come back normal. I feel like I need to get another opinion but don't know what type of doctor to go to that actually know what this could be. Any suggestions?
