Oh boy...What a wonderful site I have stumbled onto! I have spent the last 20 minutes reading about all the people who have suffered the same symptoms which I have experienced. I AM NOT ALONE!!!! I have been fainting since I was about 5 years old. Mom and Dad took me to the hospital to have my tonsils removed and I never made it into the hospital room...I passed out on the scale and hit my head on the floor (ouch) My parents were quite upset at the staff for letting me take the fall. Since that time, I have passed out about 20 times. The passing out is not always due to a blood test. It has happened while on the "john" or waiting in the long line at Cheesecake Factory (I showed them!). I can usually tell when it is going to happen and just try to sit down immediately to avoid stiches in my head, chin, etc. again. Been there done that. I am a 32 year old female and consider myself to be quite healthy except for my bouts of syncope (fancy name for fainting). I am in the process of having the EPS exam and tilt-test to try and determine what the cause is. The more I read about the EPS - the less I want to do that test. Can anybody tell me if they have gone through that experience yet? Please respond to me at Acamacho@Lorcapcam.com. THANK YOU.
