My 14 year old daughter has POTS and fortunately does not pass out often, but when she does it is for 10-15 mins. and the whole time she kicks, hits, jerks like crazy. According to Dr. Grubb, an expert in this ailment, some individuals look like they are having a seizue (but it really is not) when they are passed out. Most people with POTS or vasovagal are fairly still when they are "out" but a few have the psuedo seizures.
