Actually I had no idea I was about to faint. I am not vaso-vagal, or at least I had never fainted before like this. I felt woozy and dizzy, and thought I might vomit, but didn't think I was going to blackout and fall off the table.

I was just wondering if anyone has heard of inactivity being a cause of vv? My step daughter was just diagnosed at age 12, and my husband heard tis was a cause. She doesn't live with us, but we know that she leads a sedintary life. Any comments would be appreciated.

I feel everything you've said to be true. My daughter has the exact episode of events recently I drove her to the ER nearby. Her vital showed lower BP upon standing. She experienced an episode of nausea and vomiting prior to passing out. The results in the ER BW/diff all normal she was having her menstral cycle. Her EKG Normal CT head Normal. Noone can explain but she has had a dx of anxiety and has seen a specccialist to help her deal with stress. What spealist should I take her to to help diagnosis and tretment? Signed, A concerned mom
