Oregano a trigger?

From: Michelle

Comments

I have had 2 distinct vaso-vagal episodes in the last year. The first happened at work during lunch one day. I got extremely severe stomach cramps, went to the bathroom and immediately got extremely dizzy, very sweaty (my clothes were soaked) and almost passed out. Very soft stool soon followed. I made it back to my desk, and called my doctor immediately who told me he thought I had had a V-V episode and not to worry!

I had no idea what in the heck he was talking about but since I had never had problems again discounted it...until this evening. I had another attack with extreme nausea, sore stomach, dizziness and profuse sweating along with diarrhea.

After about an hour of lying down I felt well enough to search online (didn't even know how to spell it!!) and found this site (WebMD didn't even have a thing about it!!).

The only thing that I know for sure ties both incidents is the fact that I had had oregano both times and within an hour had an episode. I don't know if this is just a coincidence, but can't think of any other time when I've had Oregano???

Anyone else out there with this trigger? Is it possible?
