vaso-vagal passing large amounts of red blood

I am 62. Have had what I have called for years "bowel attacks" so sick at bowel and stomach. Do not throw up but nausia, diarreah cramping, lose all color in face, lay on bathroom floor chilling but covered in sweat barley strong enough to get back on towel between diarreah attacks, last Sat. 5:00 a.m. passed Red Blood for 10 hrs. with or without diarreah, passed out and now Tue. still have blood with stool the size of a rabbit dropping. Has anyone else experienced the blood thing. I am scheduled for a colonoscopy but do not want to do it until I try a probiotic. Please respond if you have experience with the Blood and passing out.
