I have the same problem. I find that if they take the blood from the top of my hand instead of my arm, I don't faint as much. I also have found that if I jump up and move right after a blood test I won't faint. I'll feel lightheaded but I won't lose consciousness. I also find that having a bottle of water nearby helps as well. Drink right as you are feeling lightheaded. Don't feel bad or anything and don't believe people who tell you that you are strange. This happens to a lot of people. It is an involuntary reaction. My father has the same thing so in my case I guess it's genetic. Good Luck!
