I am a 65 year old man and I recently had my first (and probably my last) colonoscopy. After I woke up the doctor said they found no problems but that they had to stop the procedure early because my heart rate went down to less the 30 BPM. He called it a Vasovagal response. He recommended that I see a heart doctor which I will do when I can get an appointment.
