Injuries as a Result

I was wondering if anyone had injured themselves while fainting. I drive every day and I am scared that I will faint while driving. My friends always tell me to stay away from the edge of the subway platform incase I faint. The closest injury I had was the only time I fell while standing, but it was in my house so I got lucky.
