Hey Becca, Although not very hopeful is your news to me. I am so sorry for what you are going through. My son is so active in sports, hockey, baseball and tackle football. His coaches have been kept informed of what is going on with him right now but they are starting to have reservations about him playing with the teams. I cannot bring myself to ever have to tell him that this cannot happen - my son as I said lives for sports. I am hoping that since he has only had 4 of these attacks throughout his short life that maybe he only has a 'mild' case, if there is such a thing(?). His pediatrician has been very open with me and has let me provide him with information so he can help us. (thank God). His doctor I am sad to say though has never heard of this condition - but is willing to learn. My biggest concern with my son is disappointing him. I dont ever want to tell him that he cannot do something. I understand he has to have certain restrictions but have always raised my kids to be high achievers. With the testing that is ongoing and will continue in the next months, hopefully they can fully diagnose this as RAS rather than VVS and hopefully something we will find will help him function completely normally (meds or pacemaker). I am trying to stay optimistic but am just being ripped apart inside about this. Thanks for all of your help and the best of luck to you. If you do ever want to talk to me I will be here. God Bless.... Samantha
