Yeah, I know what you mean. It's exactly like a really deep sleep. If I were to imagine what death might be like, I'd assume it would be like that...

I was just (unofficially) diagnosed with VV, after I had a shot. For me it was a delayed reaction - I walked into the lobby, then started to get dizzy, then it was like a black cloud blurred my vision. I remember trying to get down on the floor, then nothing. I was crying before I blacked out, too...

I "woke up" thirty seconds later (or that's what everyone said) on the floor. I remember regaining consciousness, and I know I had a really interesting dream, but I can't remember it. When I did actually wake up, I thought I was dreaming...

Most of my symptoms are the same as everyone elses (well, minus the bathroom and cramp ones), except that while I was out, I twitched. It only happened once or twice (again, I wouldn't know, would I?), but apparently that's not typical...

Now, I'm scared of going to get the next in my series of shots not because of the pain, but because of the potential for a VV reaction. I'm glad this site exists - in many ways, it's eased my anxiety better than a professional could. I feel fortunate that my VVS isn't as bad as most peoples' on here, but I still wish there was more information regarding this reaction...

(though in the end, some good did come of my fainting - I fainted right in front of the door of the lobby. When people had to come in, they had to dodge my unconscious body. When I was conscious and could watch their faces as they came in... beautiful. :D You can't blame me for trying to make the best of a bad situation...)
