this is the first time I've actually researched vaso-vagal on the web - very comforting to know I am not alone... my first experience was when I was 10 years old getting my newly pierced ears cleaned with alcohol and I passed out and hit my head on the window sill on the way down. Other experiences have been during an optical exam, just standing around and talking to someone, and having a biopsy at the OB-Gyn office yesterday. Interesting to note that while I was pregnant with my children, I never experienced any vaso-vagal reactions! I hope that is good news to those who are nervous about having children. After my episodes with the eye doctor and Ob-Gyn, I had the vomitting, too. I'm thinking of getting a medic alert bracelet - does anyone else have one for this? What text did you use? thanks, Amy
