Your story sounds familiar, My husband (DH)has had this for a long time, years. After many combinations of drugs & doctors. We were reffered to a cardiologist in Gainesville Fla. My husband was given Toprol 100 mg. we found that this was the only med to alleviate the symptoms to some extent. They have since changed the dose to 200 mg and this med has been the key. Hubby was even placed on a 30 day heart monitor, he passed out 2 times , while on this event monitor , but the only problem was that DH was unable to hit the record when the passing out occurred, when he fell , the send button was pressed not the record button. When reading your story, we feel it is also in DH's neck area, because of the vv nerves location. Thought I would share our story with you & maybe talk to your doctor about this med, it has been the only thing that has help DH. Toprol is a beta blocker & I'm thankful for it, because DH has said that he hasn't felt this good in a very long time. just a note about this med, some of its side effects are dizziness, you have to take your time standing up from sitting or lying positions. Good Luck to you.
