high altitude

I'm on a summer missions project in Colorado, and the altitude here is significantly higher than my home in Wisconsin. My VVS had been pretty well under control, but shortly after I arrived I started passing out again. I called my doctor and she said I should double my medication because of the altitude (I'm on Florinef, a.k.a. Fludrocort, to slightly raise my blood pressure). It worked and I even got to go white water rafting yesterday! Just a heads up to anyone who might be traveling to a higher altitude...check with your doctor first about medications...it might save you a lot of trouble.
