Hello! I went to the doctor today after waking up at 4 am this morning feeling faint, then tingling in fingers, then really loud buzzing, shortness of breath, claminess, shakiness etc. This isn't the first time this has happend...about 6 or 7 times over 3 years. It always happens in the middle of the night...I wake up feeling odd...like my heart isn't beating and then the tingling starts etc. I have to get up and breath deeply...this seems to help...the worst of it lasts a couple of minutes ( and it is horrible..feel like I am going to die) but then I feel lightheaded and odd for a couple of hours. I have never passed out. THe doctor today said it sounds like VV but from what I have been reading, this happens when you are upright, not in the middle of the night from a deep sleep. Any opinions? I am a bit worried...don't want to drop dead on my husband, and two young children.
