I am 38 and was being treated for epilepsy for most of my life. I would have 1 spell every two years until 1998. I crashed my car. Doctor at time could only see activity. So I did not have to take the Pills. Which I hated to take. In January of 2006 I had a spell. no big deal i was used to them just did not like them. Unfortunatly or fortunatly i had another. That made me nervous because i never had 2 close together. I then passed a Kidney stone. i thought that is why i may have had the second spell. well for three months i was full of anti seizer pills. maxed out. i said something is happening at night because i was ever so tired in the morning. Thats when I got the Holtor monitor. On one of my 47 spells. I broke my knee cap. they took xrays on the day i got the monitor put on. the next day at my check up they pulled me right away to tell me I broke my knee cap and that I needed a pace maker. Turns out that I had a 16 yes 16 second Pause. I guess that explains the tiredness. I can still tell when I have one but no more hitting the ground.
