I had a vaso-vagal reaction for the first time today. I thought I was having a heart attack and dying. I was sitting down to eat lunch with a co-worker and took a sip of my drink. It immediately felt like my drink had gone down wrong and then the pain and dizziness increased until I passed out. I was taken to a hospital where they told me it was vaso-vagal I had necer heard of it, and I still think it was something else.
