I have had the episodes. I feel the extreme pain in my lower abdomen, become light headed, vomit and/or have explosive diarea. The onset is sudde. I have passed out also. The episodes have come mostly after I have eaten. Fortunately it happened twice at two different dinner parties where there were doctors so when I went to see one about it I had "credible" witnesses because before that I was told I must be hyperventalating and over reacting to my bowel movement pain. I have since been put on a low dose of a beta blocker. Ihave had fewer instances since then with less of the lightheadedness. Surpisingly, my 16 year old (very phyically fit) daughter has had some tachacardia and was in the middle of a tilt test and had the same exact symptoms as I have. I would like to know more information on treatment if there is any. THanks
