I had a doctor tell me that the anti-depressant has an actual physcial effect on the vaso-vagal symptoms. He explained that it helps supress the vagal nerve. Tell me, what do you mean by pre-syncope? I don't pass out,(only once during a 10K race) but seem to have almost daily symptoms. Do you have tightness of chest, and total body "uncomfrortableness" ? I have had all this since this summer. I spent 5 days in the hospi. in July with a ton of tests. I am now taking a low dosed Beta-blocker (toprol 25mg and Nexium) I have an appoint at Clevelend Clinic in January. I am so frustrated with these daily symptoms. Sometimes it might be gone for about 10 days and then it returns... You too? Thanks...J. Jones
