AntiSpam: orange
From: Richard Copeland
I am 52 years old. My first episode hapenned when I was 25. It seems to come about every 5 years. I have been in the hospital for tests, however no one seems to know the answer. All I know is, when I sit on the commode for a bowel movement and start feeling dizzy, I can sometimes stop it by putting a cold rag on my head. (One doctor told me to wear a helmit when having a bowel movement).Last week, I was too late. I got up from the commode and started running water for a cold rag. My wife woke me up shaking me. I had hit the door knob on the way down and have had a terrible head ache since. I do not know why they come around only when I have a bowel movement. The best explanation I have had was that it was weak septum valve. I do know one thing, the wet rags sometime help me from passing out, however the next vaso-vagel reaction will come sooner. If I have the vaso-vagal pass out. It will be a lot longer before I have another one. The doctors I have been to seem unconcerned. They think I have another problem.
