I have had 5 or 6 events. First I feel light-headed, then nauseaous, sweaty, and begin to black outalthough so far I haven't. Then it ends. Often it seems to be associated with eating and talking but not always. Usually I am sitting down. Once I went to the hospital because I was afraid to keep driving. I have since had a tilt-table test. The adminstrator felt I was O.K. but my cardiologist said I definitely had VVS. I was fine for the first 45 minutes of standing but passed out when given nitro-glycerin.Why would that happen? He suggested taking Toprol XL, but as it only happens infrequently, I kind of hate to medicate for it.
