Hi Bob. I don't have IBS, but rumblings in my intestines is what sets off my version of VV. I have never fainted, but have come close. I can imagine how frightening it would be to have IBS and VV! Unfortunately, VV is usually a product of the way we are wired internally and we have to know our triggers. We can't be "cured", but we can learn what works to mitigate our symptoms. Hopefully others can give a more technical explanation.
