Hi, Becca!
I've gone back and forth with this question for years, but I'm now pretty certain that it's V-V, not panic attacks (my brother does have panic disorder). Realizing that an episode is coming on can sure CAUSE panic, tho!
I'm just not 100% sure. I've read that you CANNOT faint due to a panic attack, and I've also read that fainting is a rare symptom of panic attacks.
I wish someone could tell us for sure which causes which. Does the V-V cause panic symptoms, or does a panic attack case us to faint? *sigh* I wish I knew.
