My tilt test was postive but I didn't completely black out. It is deemed positive if your blood pressure and heart rate change. In my case my blood pressure bottomed and my heart rate kept increasing until it also bottomed - I went totally deaf and began to go blind when I had mine done.

Can you get a copy of the results from the test to prove you did have changes in blood pressure and heart rate? That is how you know you had a positive test. If those things didn't happen it is extremely unlikely you have vasovagal and other things should be investigated.

They don't have to give meds with the test. I didn't have any (though that could be because I am in the UK and they don't tend to here).
