When I have surgery my vv kicks in and my blood pressure drops. Then they stop the pain medication. This makes it worse. I have tried to tell every one I have VV but to no avail. A nurse will under no circumstances give you pain medicatuion with a low blood presure tp over 50. Giving the paint medication us the only thing that brings up my blood pressure. Because of this I was n recovey from a hysterectomy from 9 a.m. to 2:00pm and no paint medicattion until 5:00 and the doctor knows IU have VV. Finally my husand yelled. I got pain medication and everything fine. Anyone else with similar experiences. I am afraid if I have to have an emergenecy operation I will die. You do know they give pain medication by watching to see if you blood pressure goes up not down. What a mess Anyone had any other experiences like this? Lind
