vaso vagal

At 52 I started a series of VERY occasional fainting spells. Frist one was when I needed to throw up at about midnight, and didnt make it to the bathroom, but woke up on the floor. Went back to bed, and needed to throw up again and woke up UNDER the bathroom sink (on marble floor) Shortly thereafter, I jumped out of bed again and this time passed out with my head IN the toilet. By now I had nothing left in my stomach to throw up but I was getting progressively more dehydrated and obviously didnt know it. I happened to be in a hotel and by morning I was taken by ambulance to the emergency room, blacking out completely twice even while on the stretcher enroute! No diagnosis, and I left after several hours in emergency. After that I had a couple of fainting spells at home, not quite making the bathroom but finding myself on the floor instead. Now, 8 years later my symptoms have changed to an almost daily occurrence when I sit down to have my FIRST bite of breakfast in the morning! I am always aware of its onset and I just breathe deeply and make sure I dont fall off the chair. I havent read the forum discussions and will do so now, with interest. Thanks!
