Appreciate your input. I had two cardiologist, a neurologist and an internist run all kinds of test on me during my week stay in the hospital. I passed all the tests that checked to see if there was something wrong with my heart. I even wore a event monitor for a month at home. Everything seems to okay which rules out using a pacemaker. The final test was the tilt table and I fainted within ten minutes into the test. I was given celexa and was told that it would help. I was also given lipitor because my cholesterol was through the roof. When I went to see another cardiologist he tried midodrine. I stopped taking midodrine and was given toprol xl in it's place. The midodrine didn't help much to regulate my BP. Could you be more specific when you said you modified your lifestyle? You don't work, correct? I would imagine it would be hard for someone to modify their lifestyle if they have to continue to earn a living.
