Be careful with taking beta blockers. My Doctor who is considered "the best" regarding vv condition problems advised me he would not advise beta blockers because the side effects can be worse than the vv problem. If you have daily or weekly fainting, your Doctor should advise a pacemaker. If your fainting episodes are several weeks apart, no medications are needed as per my Doctor. I've lived with vv since 1999 with no medications and have just modified my lifestyle in order to live with condition.
