I have very similar symptoms. The first time was while I was taking a laxative which I seemed to be too strong for me. I sat down for a bowel movement and started to feel hot, then a little nauseous. It kept getting worse. At it's peek, I was laying on the floor groaning and for a moment I think I passed out. After that I was able to pass some stool, but not much. It lasted about an hour. I thought it was an isolated incident related to the laxatives but it happened again while taking another drug, wellbutrin, so I stopped taking that drug. To my horror it happened a third time just after eating a large meal. I felt like I was just having a diarrhea bout (I have irritable bowel syndrome) but it turn into the above mentioned attack. The vasovagal reaction doesn't sound enough like my symptoms, I wasn't straining, I didn't get up quickly and it happened over a long period of time.
