Having only witnessed my son have 2 febrile convulsions before the age of 2 (yet had to be informed that is what he had) a frightening experience but he has been none the worse for that and now 18 at University. VASO VAGAL is apparently however what my daughter (now almost 17) has suffered at the ages of 3 4 6 9 14 and only recently was hospitalised for first diagnosis after experiencing 2 collapses after having been absent from school with a cold. Important to mention at all these times she had a childhood infection or on two occasion at age 6 and 9 had Vaso vagal after falling at the ice rink and beside her pony. All previous occasions to the recent times she was dismissed as no one else but her mother had seen the momentary 'turns'.
