Hello,
I'm and a 15 year old and last year I was diagnosed with Vaso Vagal. I was trying to find information on Vaso Vagal. Is Vaso Vagal considered an axiety disorder?
I believe that a year ago I had a panic attack. I was sitting in the theatre and my arm began falling asleep. At that point in my life my mother had been going through a rough time and the doctor believed she had a brain tumor. Because of this I began looking up information about brain tumors. As it turns out my mother did not have a brain tumor but I had fully educated myself on the subject so when my arm began to fall asleep I had an irrational reaction. For some reason I became extremely terrified that I had a brain tumor. Of course, I did and do not have a brain tumor, in fact I am extremely healthy.
In the theatre when I believe I had a panic attack I was dizzy and felt as though I was going to faint. I also was uncomtrolablly shaking and felt nausea. After about 15 minutes or so I tried to calm myself down with little success.
Since then I have had a nervous issue everytime I go to the theatre and have had similar issues as the one discribed above with a lower magnitude.
Now, I'm confused. Did I have Vaso Vagal or a panic attack?
Any commments would be appreciated. Thank you, A.
