Breathing in vaso-vagal episode
From: Dorothy Hawkins
Comments
Now that I've read more of others' experiences with v.v. I'm surprised to see that no one (except the most recent entry "---not crazy") have mentioned breathing as being helpful as I did. I felt that I wasn't getting oxygen to the brain and that's what made me concentrate on careful breathing---not fast, just focused abdominal breathing. Since I didn't pass out in either of the very bad events I gave credit to the breathing--hopefully someone will have an opinion on this.
