for several years i have been having episodes like those mentioned on this site. two years ago i had one so bad i went by ambulance to er where they were sure it was my heart. i had an catherization and indeed hade a blocked artery so this syndrome may have saved my life. however it happened again three days after i returned home. i thought my stents had failed they recathed me and said everything was fine. so i continued to have spells for two years i start with severe hotness exteme blurred vision a feeling of confusion or vagueness pins and needles. i feel as though everything is leaving me and i'm going to die. had a bad one last weekend and went to er where i was diagnosed by a pa with vaso vasal told to drink water have enough salt(my pottasim) was very low. any way i know i'm not going to die have only passed out once as i have warning and my natural instinct is to sit and breath hard. also this happens out of the blue no ryme or reason or pattern. sitting or standing does not seem to matter. well i'm glad to finally have a name to my episodes and a place to talk about it. thanks
