I experienced the same reaction at the dentists office about 15 years ago. The dentist told me I might have an allergic reaction. Several years went by and when the next couple of dentists refused to treat me I finally had an allergy test. The test was negative but I had the same reaction. Since it only seems to be happening at the dentists office when I am given local anestetica everybody was confused. After another comprehensive test where I was injected with lidocane, I now know that I am not allergic but have a vasovagal reaction. Strangely enough during the last test I did not have a reaction. I am now at the point where I need two root canals because nobody could understand what was wrong.
