So, what do we do?

For the past 15 years or so, I have had this problem. When I begin feeling like I am going to throw up, my body ends up "shutting down", and I pass out and have a seisure. I guess I wouldn't know that I have a seisure, but my wife came out to check on me and found me in the middle of a seisure. Needless to say, whenever the stomach flu comes through our home, I panic. I am a 39 year old male. My doctor has basically dismissed it as Vaso-Vagal Syndrome, but has offered nothing to help with it. It may not seem like much to some, but it scares me and I'd like to get some relief. Any suggestions?
