Chris,
Request a tilt table test is done - that is the only thing that tends to show up VVS. BUT make sure the results go to someone who can interpret them.
Mine were misinterrpretted and I was told I had VVS, but actually I have postural hypotension (my blood pressure gradually bottoms out when standing) causing loss of consiousness. One of the treatments given for VVS is beta blockers, this made my condition much worse whic is why it is important tilt test is inturrpretted correctly.
I've also had the epilepsy (non typical) diagnosis too.
Becca.
