Vaso-Vagal Syndrome

My daughter is 31 years old. When she was a child, and needed blood testing, she would faint. Also, when standing in church too long, she would faint. HR was low (55 BPM), but we were told that was probably because she was an athlete. Now as an adult, she has started to faint when standing too long. As per her cardiologist, she recently went for the tilt test & at one point she was told to stand in one spot for 15 min. She fainted. Dx was Vaso-Vagal. It was suggested that she take Paxil. She's an Occupational Therapist and on her feet most of the day. She's terrified. Is there any treatment for this? Thank you for your time. Olivia Michaels,RN
