My 8 year old daughter fainted a few days ago. I was cleaning her knee from a scrape and we were talking - then she didn't say anything...I looked up and her eyes were rolling and then she went limp. I got her to the ground and she was twitching in her arm and leg, eyes still rolling- then she was dead still. She was under for a couple of minutes. But when she came to, she said that she had been staring at a picture on the wall and then her throat clogged, she got hot, then "went to sleep and dreamed about the picture". After this, she told me that she had a previous episode similar at school when looking at a picture, but she didn't pass out. The doctor did blood work, all that is fine. But he thinks it was a Vasal-vagal reaction. I don't really understand it, or is this just a catch all phrase for her fainting? Please help me with any information you can.
