I have been very fortunate with my vv. I don't pass out. I have seizure like activities, but I am awake during them. I struggle every day to get out of bed. Some days are worse then others. I have had 2 eegs done and every time they flash the lights, I have a violent attack. I thought I was the only one. My first tilt table test was extremely violent. My cardiologist is a very nice and caring man, but I don't think the doctors know that much about this illness. My eye sight gets blurry during an attack and one time parts of my vision were missing. then I had a ripple effect out of one eye, My eye sight clears up after a few hours.

I am able to work, I force myself most days to go. I am fortunate. I am on celexa and it helps. I don't think I could be working if I weren't taking celexa. My cardioilogist said that celexa has helped all but 2 of his patients with vv.

My advise is to find a kind caring cardiologist.
