I passed out as a little girl, maybe 6 or 7 and the doctors never acted like it was all too serious, maybe it would pass with age....the episodes got further apart as I got older and I usually got them when I didn't eat right and sleep right. Now I am 24 yrs old and I just found out today that I have neurocardiogenic syncopes. I live in a small town and the doctors and hospitals here did not really help me when I had my first episode after 3 years a week ago. We got a referral to a cardiologist in a big city 2 hours away and he told me he's 99.9% sure that's what I have, but I have a tilt table test in 2 weeks to verify it. Take your daughter to a good doctor, and don't take "we don't know" for an answer, my mom is so mad that she excepted that answer 15+ years ago. Email me any questions lovemyk9s@msn.com.
