Vaso-Vagal

My husband now 68yrs.old has suffered from Vaso-Vagal condition. He was not diagnosed for several years. He was told that he was probably just dehydrated. He usually knows when he is "going down". His body heats up especially his back. His blood pressure drops and his color goes to a pastey gray. He was diagnosed while in a hospital[for another reason] and was prescribed Toporol and told he would need to take it for the rest of his life. It appears to have done the trick since he has not had an episode in several years.
