she was rushed to the hospital yesterday with a heartrate of 32 beats per minute. She explained that she saw flashes before she started to faint. After recieving oxygen and having her legs elevated by the EMT her heart rate rose to 72 beats per minute. All the routine tests were given at the hospital and she was released 5 hours later. And, went back to school and the doctor the next day. The doctor said she was fine and could resume normal activities. I hope this never happens again. What signs or symptoms should I look for to help prevent this from occurring again?
