I have been having these episodes for decades now. I have very low blood pressure and my doctor acts as though I am complaining about something insignificant while other patients have true problems...cancer, diabetes, and so on. My last bout with this dreadful disabler was last weekend. My son brought home a stomach virus that has been circulating around school. Everyone in the family began throwing up, me included. As soon as I became nauseated, I began having a ringing sensation in my ears, sweating profusely, and I knew it was about to hit. I dropped to the floor and the next thing I knew, I woke up in a floor covered in diarrhea and vomit and I was swimming in it. My small children were asking me if I was dying as they stood over me crying. Over the course of the night, I seizured, passed out, and threw up a half a dozen times. My family askes me why I get so upset as it begins and the way I describe it is that it feels so violent inside my body as it hits and takes over my system. No wonder people have anxiety attacks or panic attacks; there is not a more violent invasion of the body that I have ever experienced. I wish I could find a doctor who would understand and try to help me instead of telling me there is nothing he can do, especially because my blood pressure is so low. Anyone have any ideas?
